Switchyard Router (“the app”) is published by the operator of switchyardrouter.com (“we”). We designed the app so that we do not collect personal data.
What the app does not collect
The app contains no analytics, advertising, crash-reporting or tracking software. We have no user accounts. We do not see, log or store your traffic, browsing history, DNS queries, IP address, server configurations or rules.
Data that stays on your device
Server configurations, routing rules, connection logs and traffic statistics are stored locally on your device, and in your own iCloud account only if you enable iCloud sync. You can delete them at any time by removing the configuration or deleting the app.
Network requests the app makes
- Signed configuration files. The app periodically downloads
/config.jsonand/providers.jsonfrom switchyardrouter.com. These requests contain no identifiers. Our web host may keep standard access logs (IP address, time, user agent) for up to 30 days for security; we do not link them to individuals. - Your servers. Traffic you route through a server goes to that server, operated by you or the provider you chose, under their privacy policy.
- Tools you start. Optional diagnostics (IP check, DNS-leak test, speed test) and rule-set downloads contact the third-party service shown in the app, only when you use them.
Purchases
The app is sold through the Apple App Store. Payment is processed by Apple; we do not receive your payment details.
Children
The app is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.
